Overview Of The Job
- The Growth Officer plays a critical role in shaping product success and market competitiveness.
- The position directly influences product portfolio performance, financial growth, and customer satisfaction while ensuring the organization remains responsive to evolving market dynamics.
- The role supports strategic decision-making and drives continuous improvement across products, channels, and customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
Market Strategy & Growth Execution:
- Develop and execute targeted market growth strategies aligned with business objectives and KPIs
- Identify and prioritize growth opportunities across markets, customer segments, and products
- Use data insights and market intelligence to optimize performance and decision-making
- Analyze competitor activity, industry trends, and customer behavior to inform strategy
- Define product positioning and differentiation strategies to improve market penetration
- Design and track performance metrics, refining strategies based on real-world feedback
Product Lifecycle Management:
- Oversee end-to-end product lifecycle from ideation to retirement
- Regularly update Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) based on market changes
- Implement testing and quality assurance processes for product readiness
- Develop and execute customer retention strategies to maximize product value
Market & Data Analytics:
- Analyze customer acquisition, retention, and revenue performance
- Identify growth gaps and opportunities using predictive and behavioral analytics
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs, pain points, and preferences
- Build competitive intelligence frameworks to monitor market shifts
- Provide actionable recommendations for product and marketing improvements
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Marketing, and Product teams to drive growth initiatives
- Support offline sales channels with effective go-to-market strategies
- Gather and integrate feedback from sales and customers into product improvements
- Align marketing strategies with product goals to maximize engagement and adoption
- Improve operational efficiency through cross-functional collaboration
Channel Optimization:
- Develop and optimize product distribution and adoption channels
- Identify inefficiencies and improve existing channel performance
- Partner with external vendors and stakeholders to expand reach
- Ensure seamless integration of new channels into existing systems
Digital Growth & Product Enhancement:
- Drive product adoption through digital channels and user experience improvements
- Leverage customer insights to enhance digital engagement and accessibility
- Monitor digital performance metrics and optimize for growth outcomes
Compliance & Risk Management:
- Ensure all product and growth initiatives comply with regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to mitigate risks
- Conduct regular compliance reviews and audits
- Adapt strategies in response to regulatory changes
Other Duties:
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Line Manager

Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field
- Experience in Growth Product Management is a must
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Deep curiosity about customer behavior and market dynamics
- Strong attention to detail with a data-driven mindset
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies is an advantage.
Salary
N800,000 - N1,000,000 per month.
