Job Summary
- Our client is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Chemist to conduct laboratory tests, analyze chemical substances, and support production and quality control processes.
- The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with safety standards while delivering accurate and reliable results.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct chemical analysis and laboratory testing of raw materials and finished products
- Prepare chemical solutions and compounds for various applications
- Monitor production processes to ensure quality standards are met
- Maintain accurate records of experiments, tests, and results
- Ensure proper use, calibration, and maintenance of laboratory equipment
- Adhere strictly to health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Identify and troubleshoot issues in chemical processes
- Collaborate with production and quality control teams
Requirements
- OND, HND or B.Sc in Chemistry or related field
- Proven experience in a laboratory or industrial setting is an added advantage
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of laboratory safety procedures and best practices
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work under minimal supervision.
Salary
N130,000 per month.
