Job Summary

• Our client is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Chemist to conduct laboratory tests, analyze chemical substances, and support production and quality control processes.
• The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with safety standards while delivering accurate and reliable results.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct chemical analysis and laboratory testing of raw materials and finished products
• Prepare chemical solutions and compounds for various applications
• Monitor production processes to ensure quality standards are met
• Maintain accurate records of experiments, tests, and results
• Ensure proper use, calibration, and maintenance of laboratory equipment
• Adhere strictly to health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Identify and troubleshoot issues in chemical processes
• Collaborate with production and quality control teams

Requirements

• OND, HND or B.Sc in Chemistry or related field
• Proven experience in a laboratory or industrial setting is an added advantage
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of laboratory safety procedures and best practices
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work under minimal supervision.

Salary
N130,000 per month.
