Job Title: Training and Development Executive (HR Generalist)

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • Our client is seeking a proactive and results-driven Training and Development Executive(HR Generalist) to design, implement, and manage training programs that enhance employee performance and support organizational growth.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in tech training, graduate trainee program management, and a strong understanding of HR generalist functions to drive continuous learning across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement training and development strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Design and deliver engaging technology-focused training programs for employees.
  • Manage and coordinate graduate trainee programs, including onboarding, development plans, and performance monitoring.
  • Conduct training needs assessments to identify skill gaps and learning opportunities.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with department heads to create customized learning solutions for teams.
  • Maintain accurate training records, reports, and learning documentation.
  • Support core HR generalist functions including onboarding, employee engagement, performance management, and employee relations.
  • Facilitate workshops, seminars, and continuous professional development initiatives.
  • Stay updated on learning trends, digital training tools, and fintech industry developments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in Training and Development and HR Generalist roles.
  • Experience delivering tech training programs in a corporate environment.
  • Experience managing graduate trainee or internship programs.
  • Strong understanding of HR generalist practices.
  • Excellent presentation, facilitation, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
