APMDC is seeking to engage a high-performing and results-driven Sales Executive for its WAC operations. Job Title: Sales Executive - WAC

Location: Apapa, Lagos

Job Summary

  • APMDC is seeking to engage a high-performing and results-driven Sales Executive for its WAC operations.
  • This role is designed for a seasoned professional with a strong background in logistics sales, capable of driving revenue growth, expanding client portfolios, and positioning APMDC as a preferred logistics partner within the region.

Role Overview

  • The Sales Executive will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and delivering tailored logistics solutions across sea freight, air freight, and cargo operations.
  • The ideal candidate must possess strong industry knowledge and a proven ability to convert leads into sustainable business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive business development and revenue generation for WAC operations.
  • Identify and secure new clients within shipping, forwarding, and cargo sectors.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships to ensure repeat business.
  • Promote APMDC’s sea freight, air freight, and logistics solutions.
  • Prepare and present commercial proposals and service offerings.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform strategy.
  • Collaborate with operations teams to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets and KPIs.

Key Requirements (Strictly Required)

  • Proven experience in logistics, shipping, or freight forwarding sales.
  • Strong working knowledge of:
    • Sea Freight Operations
    • Air Freight Operations
    • Freight Forwarding Processes.
  • Experience in cargo handling or cargo sales is a strong advantage.
  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline.
  • Demonstrated ability to close deals and drive revenue growth.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of professionalism and market awareness.

Preferred Profile:

  • Existing network within logistics, shipping, or import / export sectors.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and commercially astute.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
