We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Sales Executive (Electrical Products)

Location: Lagos

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a knowledgeable and results-driven Sales Executive to drive the sales of electrical accessories and lighting products within our retail and project segments.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical products such as DB boards, wires, switches, sockets, transformers, and lighting solutions, and be capable of advising customers while achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities
Sales & Revenue Generation:

  • Actively promote and sell electrical products including DB boards, cables, switches, sockets, transformers, and lighting fixtures
  • Meet and exceed assigned monthly and quarterly sales targets
  • Identify customer needs and recommend suitable products and solutions
  • Upsell and cross-sell complementary products to maximize revenue

Customer Engagement & Relationship Management:

  • Attend to walk-in customers and provide professional product guidance
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with electricians, contractors, and developers
  • Follow up on inquiries, quotations, and pending orders
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business

Product Knowledge & Advisory:

  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of all electrical and lighting products
  • Provide basic technical guidance on product usage and compatibility
  • Stay updated on industry trends and new product offerings

Operational & Store Support:

  • Ensure proper product display and merchandising within the showroom
  • Assist in stock monitoring and reporting low inventory levels

Qualifications & Requirements
Education:

  • Minimum of HND / B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, or related field

Experience

  • 2 - 4 years experience in electrical, lighting, or technical product sales
  • Prior experience in a retail showroom or electrical distribution environment is an added advantage

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of electrical accessories (DB boards, cables, switches, sockets, etc.)
  • Basic understanding of electrical systems and applications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong sales, negotiation, and persuasion abilities
  • Customer-focused with a professional approach
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment

Other Requirements:

  • Must reside within or around the Lekki-Ajah axis
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High level of integrity and accountability
  • Maintain accurate sales records and customer database
  • Support general store operations as required
