Job Title: Business Development Executive

Job Summary
- As a Business Development Executive you will play a key role in driving the growth and success of our portfolio ventures impact projects and hub services
- This multifaceted role combines venture-building support proposal writing client interfacing and the sales of our services to startups tech-enabled MSMEs and other stakeholders in our expanding community and beyond
Job Responsibilities
- Provide strategic and operational support to our portfolio ventures assisting in scaling their operations and achieving business milestones
- Work closely with startups and tech MSMEs in our ecosystem offering business advice mentorship and access to relevant resources
- Conduct in-depth market research to identify new business opportunities emerging trends and competitive insights relevant to our ventures and hub services
- Analyze market data to develop growth strategies and position our services to meet the demands of the market
- Write compelling proposals concept notes and grant applications that clearly articulate our value proposition and project impact
- Develop presentations and pitches to communicate the unique benefits of our services to potential clients and partners
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients ensuring clear communication and strong relationship management throughout the project lifecycle
- Identify client needs and work collaboratively with internal teams to develop tailored solutions that address their specific challenges
- Develop and implement sales strategies aimed at increasing revenue from our hub services including training programs consulting and workspace solutions
- Meet or exceed sales targets by effectively selling our services to startups tech MSMEs and other businesses
- Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships that can enhance our service offerings or expand our market reach
- Lead negotiations and finalize partnership agreements that align with 8thGear’s business objectives
- Maintain accurate records of business development activities client interactions and deal progress in CRM systems
- Provide regular reports to management on sales performance market trends and business development initiatives
General Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications Marketing PR or related fields
- 3–6 years in Business Development Sales Communications or Growth roles
- Proven record closing business not just awareness
- Proven track record of running high-performing campaigns with verifiable results
- Strong understanding of marketing funnels conversion optimization and CRM tools preferably Zoho
- Skilled in Ads Management Meta Business Suite Google Ads LinkedIn Campaign Manager
- Proficiency in social media management and analytics tools
- Excellent content planning copywriting and storytelling abilities
- Ability to lead a small creative team and manage multiple content pipelines
- Strong analytical skills with ability to optimize campaigns based on data
- Experience in coordinating community events or online engagement initiatives
- High curiosity creativity and commitment to staying updated on content trends
- Entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to take initiative.
