We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Talent & Performance Specialist

Location: Lagos
Reporting Line: HRTM Manager

Job Purpose

  • To manage talent acquisition, performance tracking, and employee development, ensuring the organization attracts, develops, and retains high-performing talent.

Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition:

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment process
  • Develop job descriptions and sourcing strategies
  • Coordinate interviews and candidate assessments
  • Ensure quality onboarding experience.

Onboarding & Probation Management:

  • Coordinate structured onboarding programs
  • Track probation performance and confirmation decisions
  • Ensure new hires integrate effectively.

Performance Management Execution:

  • Support implementation of KPI frameworks
  • Track employee performance data
  • Coordinate appraisal cycles
  • Monitor underperformance and flag risks early.

Learning & Development:

  • Identify training needs across departments
  • Coordinate training programs
  • Track training effectiveness and ROI.

Talent Pipeline & Succession:

  • Maintain talent database and pipeline
  • Support succession planning initiatives

Reporting:

  • Generate recruitment and performance reports
  • Maintain performance tracking dashboards.

Broad KPIs
Recruitment Efficiency:

  • Time-to-fill vacancies (Target: ≤30 days)
  • Offer acceptance rate (Target: ≥90%).

Quality of Hire:

  • Probation success rate (Target: ≥85%)
  • New hire retention (first 6 months).

Performance Management:

  • KPI tracking accuracy (Target: 100%)
  • Appraisal completion rate (Target: 100%).

Training & Development:

  • Training completion rate
  • Post-training performance improvement metrics.

Talent Pipeline:

  • Availability of qualified candidates for critical roles
  • Succession readiness index.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Business Admin or related fields
  • 3 - 5 years HR experience in FMCG is  preferred
  • Strong in recruitment, performance & employee relations
  • Data-driven, commercial awareness, structured, proactive, high integrity
  • Certification: Membership of CIPM (Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria).
