Job Summary
- We are seeking a results-driven Business & Monetization Manager to lead revenue growth and business operations within their publishing division.
- This role is responsible for transforming content into sustainable income streams while ensuring financial efficiency and profitability across all publishing activities.
- The ideal candidate will combine strong business acumen with data-driven decision-making to optimize monetization strategies across print and digital platforms.
- You will work cross-functionally with editorial, sales, marketing, and finance teams to drive revenue, build strategic partnerships, and scale digital monetization initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute revenue and monetization strategies (subscriptions, ads, licensing, digital products, etc.)
- Drive financial performance through budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
- Analyze market trends, audience data, and performance metrics to improve ROI
- Lead business development efforts including partnerships, sponsorships, and distribution deals
- Optimize digital revenue channels (paywalls, subscriptions, ad inventory, content bundling)
- Collaborate with internal teams to align content with commercial goals
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or related fields.
- 3–7 years’ experience in monetization, business development, or digital media
- Strong financial and analytical skills
- Proven ability to drive revenue growth
- Experience in publishing, media, or content-driven businesses is an advantage
- Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
