Job Title: Branch / Operations Manager

Location: Benue
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • We are looking for a driven, experienced operations leader to help us deliver on that promise.
  • The Branch and Operations Manager will be responsible for the overall management of the branch and its operational activities.
  • You will drive business growth, ensure exceptional customer service delivery, maintain operational efficiency, and ensure strict adherence to the bank's policies and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day running of the branch and all operational activities
  • Drive branch business development, deposit mobilisation, and customer acquisition targets
  • Ensure consistently high standards of customer service and experience
  • Supervise and develop branch staff to deliver performance targets
  • Maintain operational controls, ensure compliance with internal policies, and prevent fraud and losses
  • Monitor and report on branch performance metrics to regional and head office management
  • Resolve escalated customer complaints promptly and professionally
  • Ensure adherence to all CBN guidelines and applicable banking regulations
  • Support the bank's digital adoption agenda by championing digital product uptake among customers

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Banking, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 7 years' banking experience with at least 3 years in a branch management or operations leadership role
  • Strong business development and customer relationship management skills
  • Solid understanding of branch banking operations, teller management, and vault controls
  • Knowledge of CBN regulations and banking operational standards
  • CIBN membership or relevant professional certification is an added advantage
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Residence in or ability to relocate to Benue State is required.
