We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Sales Executive - Trade

Location: Kaduna
Employment Type: Full-time

Role Overview

  • We are looking for a proactive and target-driven Sales Executive – Trade to drive sales growth across our trade distribution channels.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and retailers, ensuring product availability, and achieving sales targets within assigned territories.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new trade channels, distributors, and retail partners.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing trade customers.
  • Ensure consistent product availability and visibility across assigned outlets.
  • Execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly targets.
  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate with internal teams to prevent shortages.
  • Conduct regular market visits to track competitor activities and pricing.
  • Implement promotional activities and in-store merchandising strategies.
  • Prepare sales reports, territory performance updates, and forecasts.
  • Negotiate pricing, margins, and trade terms with partners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in trade sales, FMCG sales, or distribution sales.
  • Strong understanding of trade and distribution networks.
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage assigned territories effectively.
  • Good communication and reporting skills.
  • Result-oriented with a strong drive to meet targets.
  • Male is preferred for gender balance.
