We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Tender / Bid Manager
Location: Rivers
Their main duties and responsibilities include
- Identifying new business opportunities and managing the bidding process
- Coordinating and preparing high-quality responses to tender documents
- Ensuring all bids submitted meet customer requirements and adhere to company standards
- Leading bid strategy meetings and reviewing competitive information
- Collaborating with various team members such as sales, marketing, product teams to gather necessary information for the bid
- Developing and maintaining a knowledge library of business-specific bid response content
- Presenting bids to clients and stakeholders
- Tracking and managing bid outcomes and providing feedback to the team
- Managing post-bid reviews to identify areas for improvement
- Identifying and managing bids to generate new business opportunities
- Coordinating and leading cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality bid submission
- Creating compelling, customer-focused proposals to win new business
- Managing and improving the bid process and bid library
- Conducting bid reviews and debriefs to constantly improve the bid process
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders
- Ensuring compliance with company policies and bid requirements
- Tracking and reporting bid results and key metrics.
Qualifications
- Bachelor`s Degree preferably in Engineering
- Proven experience as a Bid Manager or similar role in sales (5 - 10 years experience)
- Excellent project management and leadership skills
- Strong understanding of sales strategies and market trends
- Superb written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
