Job Title: Medical Officer
Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage patients presenting with various medical conditions
- Conduct patient examinations and develop appropriate treatment plans
- Prescribe medications and monitor patient progress.
- Provide emergency and urgent medical Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
- Participate in ward rounds and follow-up care
- Educate patients and relatives on health conditions and preventive care
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and medical ethics.
- An ideal candidate should be passionate about patient care and should be committed to delivering quality healthcare services.
Requirements
- MBBS or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution
- Valid practicing license from the Medical and Dental Council
- 1–2 years of post-NYSC clinical experience is an advantage
- Strong clinical and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
- Good knowledge of emergency response and patient management
- Professional, compassionate, and patient-centered attitude.
