We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Medical Officer

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage patients presenting with various medical conditions
•  Conduct patient examinations and develop appropriate treatment plans
• Prescribe medications and monitor patient progress.
• Provide emergency and urgent medical Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
• Participate in ward rounds and follow-up care
• Educate patients and relatives on health conditions and preventive care
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and medical ethics.
• An ideal candidate should be passionate about patient care and should be committed to delivering quality healthcare services.

Requirements

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution
• Valid practicing license from the Medical and Dental Council
• 1–2 years of post-NYSC clinical experience is an advantage
• Strong clinical and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
• Good knowledge of emergency response and patient management
• Professional, compassionate, and patient-centered attitude.
