Job Summary
- Our Client is requiring the service of a self-driven Equipment Sales Specialist.
- An individual contributor responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying new market opportunities, generating qualified leads, and managing client relationships within Nigeria’s healthcare and laboratory equipment sector.
Key Responsibilities
Market Development & Lead Generation:
- Research and map prospective clients (hospitals, diagnostic labs, clinics, distributors, and public health institutions) within the assigned territory.
- Execute targeted outreach to convert leads through consultative, needs-based selling.
Client Engagement & Account Management:
- Conduct product presentations, live demonstrations, and technical negotiations with procurement officers and decision-makers.
Proposal & Tender Execution:
- Prepare and submit competitive quotations, tailored business proposals, and tender documents in line with client specifications and company pricing guidelines.
Sales Tracking & Reporting:
- Meet or exceed monthly/quarterly sales and revenue targets.
- Maintain accurate pipeline data in CRM, track lead progression, and submit weekly/monthly performance reports to management.
Market Intelligence & Industry Representation:
- Monitor competitor pricing, product launches, and procurement trends.
- Represent Sixthlab at medical exhibitions, trade fairs, and healthcare networking events.
Contract Negotiation & Payment Follow-Up
- Negotiate commercial terms that protect company margins while meeting client expectations.
- Collaborate with the Accounts team to ensure timely invoice settlement and contract compliance.
Qualifications & Key Skills
- HND/BSc in Marketing, Business Administration, Science, or related discipline.
- 1–3 years of hands-on business development or direct sales experience (medical equipment, laboratory supplies, or healthcare services strongly preferred).
- Proven record of meeting/exceeding sales targets.
- Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and closing capabilities.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM platforms.
- High integrity, self-motivation, and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
