We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Commercial Director

Location: Nigeria

About the role

  • We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven leader to oversee revenue growth across multiple business lines, drive strategic partnerships, lead market expansion initiatives, and build high-performing commercial teams focused on delivering measurable business results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead weekly commercial review meetings across all revenue teams to assess pipeline performance, conversions, blockers, and growth opportunities
  • Own and manage strategic enterprise accounts and high-value business opportunities
  • Set and monitor quarterly OKRs and performance targets for commercial team leads
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to align campaigns with pipeline and conversion goals
  • Develop and optimize cross-sell and revenue expansion strategies across business lines
  • Lead pricing decisions, commercial escalations, and partnership negotiations
  • Review and approve non-standard deals, discounts, and commercial agreements
  • Represent the company in strategic partnerships, investor discussions, and key business engagements
  • Recruit, onboard, mentor, and develop high-performing commercial talent
  • Drive accountability, execution, and revenue performance across commercial teams.

Requirements

  • 8+ years experience in commercial, sales, or growth roles with proven revenue ownership
  • Strong experience leading B2B and/or B2C commercial teams
  • Proven track record of closing enterprise or high-value deals
  • Experience driving revenue growth in Tech, SaaS, HRTech, TalentTech, or EdTech environments
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Data-driven mindset with strong commercial acumen
  • Experience managing pipelines, targets, and commercial performance metrics.
