Job Title: Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) Marketing Officer
Location: Warri, Delta
Job Type: Full time
Key Responsibilities
Commercial & Marketing Oversight:
- Manage the implementation of marketing and business development initiatives for the CNG business.
- Identify prospective customers and onboard new clients.
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Prepare proposals, quotations, and commercial documentation for clients.
- Support contract administration and ensure proper documentation of customer agreements.
- Conduct market surveys and gather competitor intelligence to support business strategy and decision-making.
- Monitor customer usage trends and provide feedback to management on opportunities for business growth.
- Promoting the company’s CNG products and services to target markets.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Serve as a point of contact for customer inquiries and requests relating to CNG products and services.
- Follow up on customer complaints and ensure timely resolution in collaboration with relevant departments.
- Maintain accurate customer records and update client databases regularly.
- Support the preparation of customer reports and account performance reviews.
Operational Coordination:
- Liaise with internal teams, contractors, consultants, and service providers to support smooth project and operational activities.
- Monitor the progress of assigned activities and escalate operational issues where necessary.
- Support the coordination of logistics and operational requirements for CNG projects and customer deliveries.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements during operations.
Reporting & Administration:
- Prepare periodic reports on sales activities, customer engagements, market trends, and business performance.
- Maintain proper records of transactions, customer interactions, and commercial documentation.
- Assist in tracking invoices, payments, and customer account status.
- Support management with data analysis and presentations relating to the CNG business.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A Master's degree and a relevant professional certification is an added advantage.
- 5-6 years relevant experience in marketing, sales, customer relationship management, in the oil & gas/energy sector.
- Proven experience in the CNG sector or similar energy-related fields, with a solid understanding of industry trends and regulatory frameworks will be a string advantage.
