Matrix Energy Group is a rapidly growing indigenous and integrated Oil Marketing and Trading Company in Nigeria, with business interest that covers shipping, commodities trading, depot operations, fertilizer blending, and trading, exploration, and haulage services.

We are recruiting to fill position below:

Job Title: Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) Marketing Officer

Location: Warri, Delta
Job Type: Full time

Key Responsibilities
Commercial & Marketing Oversight:

• Manage the implementation of marketing and business development initiatives for the CNG business.
•  Identify prospective customers and onboard new clients.
• Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
• Prepare proposals, quotations, and commercial documentation for clients.
• Support contract administration and ensure proper documentation of customer agreements.
• Conduct market surveys and gather competitor intelligence to support business strategy and decision-making.
• Monitor customer usage trends and provide feedback to management on opportunities for business growth.
• Promoting the company’s CNG products and services to target markets.

Customer Relationship Management:

• Serve as a point of contact for customer inquiries and requests relating to CNG products and services.
• Follow up on customer complaints and ensure timely resolution in collaboration with relevant departments.
• Maintain accurate customer records and update client databases regularly.
•  Support the preparation of customer reports and account performance reviews.

Operational Coordination:

• Liaise with internal teams, contractors, consultants, and service providers to support smooth project and operational activities.
• Monitor the progress of assigned activities and escalate operational issues where necessary.
• Support the coordination of logistics and operational requirements for CNG projects and customer deliveries.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements during operations.

Reporting & Administration:

• Prepare periodic reports on sales activities, customer engagements, market trends, and business performance.
• Maintain proper records of transactions, customer interactions, and commercial documentation.
• Assist in tracking invoices, payments, and customer account status.
• Support management with data analysis and presentations relating to the CNG business.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• A Master's degree and a relevant professional certification is an added advantage.
• 5-6 years relevant experience in marketing, sales, customer relationship management, in the oil & gas/energy sector.
• Proven experience in the CNG sector or similar energy-related fields, with a solid understanding of industry trends and regulatory frameworks will be a string advantage.
