Job Summary
- We are looking for a Monitoring & Observability Analyst to help monitor and maintain the health, availability, and performance of our IT systems, applications, and infrastructure.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring system performance, managing alerts, tracking service availability, and generating SLA reports to support reliable business operations.
- This role is ideal for someone with experience in IT operations, infrastructure monitoring, NOC operations, or service management.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor servers, applications, cloud infrastructure, and network systems using monitoring tools
- Configure alerts, dashboards, and notifications for critical systems
- Detect and escalate system issues, outages, or performance problems in real time
- Track system uptime and service performance against SLA targets
- Generate regular SLA and performance reports
- Analyze logs, alerts, and monitoring data to identify recurring issues or risks
- Support incident investigations and root cause analysis
- Work closely with Infrastructure, DevOps, Security, and Support teams to improve system reliability
- Maintain monitoring documentation, dashboards, and reporting processes.
Requirements
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
3–5 years of experience in:
- IT Monitoring
- NOC Operations
- Infrastructure Support
- IT Operations
- Service Management
- Experience using enterprise monitoring tools is required
- ITIL certification or cloud monitoring experience is an advantage
Technical Skills:
Experience with some of the following tools and technologies:
- Grafana
- Prometheus
- Zabbix
- Nagios
- Datadog
- AWS CloudWatch
- Azure Monitor
Good understanding of:
- Infrastructure and application monitoring
- System performance metrics
- Log analysis and troubleshooting
- Networking fundamentals
- SLA reporting and incident management.
