Main Roles of a Maintenance Officer
Repair and Maintenance of Facilities:
- They carry out repairs on electrical systems, plumbing, air conditioners, generators, furniture, doors, and other hotel equipment.
Preventive Maintenance:
- They regularly inspect hotel facilities and equipment to identify and fix problems before they become serious.
Ensuring Guest Comfort and Safety:
- Maintenance officers ensure that guest rooms and public areas are safe, functional, and comfortable for guests.
Responding to Maintenance Requests:
- They attend quickly to maintenance complaints or faults reported by guests or hotel departments.
Monitoring Utilities and Equipment:
