We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Hotel Maintenance Officer 

Location: Abuja (FCT)

Job Summary 

• A Maintenance Officer is responsible for ensuring that a hotel’s equipment, facilities, and building systems are functioning properly and safely at all times.

Main Roles of a Maintenance Officer
Repair and Maintenance of Facilities:

• They carry out repairs on electrical systems, plumbing, air conditioners, generators, furniture, doors, and other hotel equipment.

Preventive Maintenance:

• They regularly inspect hotel facilities and equipment to identify and fix problems before they become serious.

Ensuring Guest Comfort and Safety:

• Maintenance officers ensure that guest rooms and public areas are safe, functional, and comfortable for guests.

Responding to Maintenance Requests:

• They attend quickly to maintenance complaints or faults reported by guests or hotel departments.

Monitoring Utilities and Equipment:

• They monitor generators, water supply systems, electrical panels, and other machinery to ensure smooth operation.

Coordination with Other Departments:

• They work closely with housekeeping, front office, and management to maintain hotel standards.

Record Keeping:

• They keep records of repairs, maintenance schedules, equipment servicing, and replacement needs.

Health and Safety Compliance:

• They ensure maintenance work follows safety regulations and helps prevent accidents or hazards.
