Job Title: Business Development Manager – Security Services Industry

Job Summary
- The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding the company’s client base, and strengthening strategic relationships within the security services industry.
- The role involves identifying business opportunities, securing contracts, managing client relationships, preparing proposals, and supporting the organization’s overall growth strategy.
- The ideal candidate must possess strong marketing and negotiation skills, deep knowledge of the security industry, and the ability to convert prospects into long-term clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within corporate, residential, industrial, government, and commercial sectors.
- Develop and implement strategic marketing and sales plans to achieve company revenue targets.
- Generate leads through networking, cold calling, referrals, and market research.
- Prepare and deliver professional business presentations, proposals, and quotations to prospective clients.
- Negotiate contracts and service agreements in line with company policies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Conduct regular client visits to understand security needs and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Handle client inquiries, complaints, and service concerns professionally.
- Ensure high client retention through excellent relationship management.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities in the security industry.
- Recommend innovative service offerings and business strategies to improve market positioning.
- Participate in industry events, exhibitions, and networking forums to promote the company brand.
- Work closely with operations and HR teams to ensure smooth onboarding and deployment of security personnel for new contracts.
- Support contract implementation and ensure service delivery aligns with agreed standards.
- Assist management in developing pricing strategies and service packages.
- Prepare weekly and monthly business development reports.
- Maintain an updated database of leads, prospects, and client engagements.
- Track sales performance against targets and provide management with actionable insights.
Requirements & Qualifications
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, Social Sciences, or related field.
- Professional certifications in Sales, Marketing, or Business Development will be an added advantage.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3–5 years cognate experience in business development, sales, or marketing within the security services industry or related service industry.
- Proven track record of winning contracts and achieving sales targets.
Age Requirement:
- Applicants must be between 25–40 years of age.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent negotiation and persuasion abilities.
- Strong networking and relationship management skills.
