Job Title: Sales Executive – Freight & Logistics

Job Summary
- We are seeking a result-driven and proactive Sales Executive with proven experience in the freight and logistics industry to drive business growth, acquire new clients, and maintain strong customer relationships.
- The ideal candidate must have a solid understanding of freight forwarding, logistics operations, transportation services, and supply chain solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the freight and logistics sector
- Market the company’s freight forwarding, transportation, and logistics services to clients
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, importers, exporters, and corporate clients
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and negotiate pricing with clients
- Follow up on leads, inquiries, and customer requests promptly
- Coordinate with operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs
- Maintain accurate sales records, reports, and client databases
- Ensure excellent customer service and after-sales support
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Marketing, Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field with 2–5 years’ sales experience in a freight and logistics company
- Must have hands-on experience in freight forwarding and logistics services
- Strong knowledge of transportation, cargo handling, import/export, and logistics operations
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and client relationship management skills
- Proven ability to generate leads and close sales deals
- Strong networking and business development skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools is an added advantage
- Ability to work independently and meet sales targets
