Job Title: Sales Executive – Freight & Logistics

Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a result-driven and proactive Sales Executive with proven experience in the freight and logistics industry to drive business growth, acquire new clients, and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • The ideal candidate must have a solid understanding of freight forwarding, logistics operations, transportation services, and supply chain solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the freight and logistics sector
  • Market the company’s freight forwarding, transportation, and logistics services to clients
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, importers, exporters, and corporate clients
  • Prepare quotations, proposals, and negotiate pricing with clients
  • Follow up on leads, inquiries, and customer requests promptly
  • Coordinate with operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs
  • Maintain accurate sales records, reports, and client databases
  • Ensure excellent customer service and after-sales support

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Marketing, Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field with 2–5 years’ sales experience in a freight and logistics company
  • Must have hands-on experience in freight forwarding and logistics services
  • Strong knowledge of transportation, cargo handling, import/export, and logistics operations
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and client relationship management skills
  • Proven ability to generate leads and close sales deals
  • Strong networking and business development skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools is an added advantage
  • Ability to work independently and meet sales targets
