Job Summary
- The Business Development Officer / Executive is responsible for driving the company’s growth by identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities, cultivating strong client relationships, and establishing strategic partnerships.
- This role focuses on enhancing the company’s market position, maximizing revenue potential, and contributing to long-term organizational success through innovative strategies and collaboration with internal teams.
Core Responsibilities
Market Research and Analysis:
- Conduct in-depth market research to identify emerging opportunities, potential OEMs, Clients, and industry trends.
- Analyze competitor activities and market dynamics to develop informed strategies.
Company Registration and Compliance:
- Ensure that the company complies with all registration and regulatory requirements for local and international operations.
- Oversee updates and renewals of certifications, licenses, and legal documentation to maintain compliance.
Company Profile Development:
- Develop and enhance the company’s profile, including creating brochures, presentations, and digital content.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent branding and messaging in all communications.
Strategic Business Proposals and Negotiations:
- Prepare and deliver customized business proposals, sales visit, presentations, and sales pitches aligned with client needs.
- Negotiate and grassroots marketing and secure profitable business deals, fostering mutually beneficial partnerships.
Collaboration and Strategy Development:
- Work closely with internal teams (e.g., Procurement, operations, and Technical team) to ensure alignment with client needs and company objectives.
Performance Tracking and Reporting:
- Monitor and evaluate business development activities, tracking metrics such as lead generation, conversion rates, and revenue growth.
- Provide actionable feedback and insights to management on market opportunities and operational challenges.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Revenue growth and achievement of sales targets.
- Number of new clients acquired and retention rates of existing clients.
- Conversion rates for leads generated and closed deals.
- Quality and impact of business proposals and presentations. Working Conditions

Qualifications and Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience: 2–5 years of proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role.
- Additional Expertise: Familiarity with industry trends, industry networks, and business strategies.
Key Skills and Competencies:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for building and maintaining client relationships.
- Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills with a results-driven approach.
