Job Title: Business Development Officer

Job Summary

  • The Business Development Officer / Executive is responsible for driving the company’s growth by identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities, cultivating strong client relationships, and establishing strategic partnerships.
  • This role focuses on enhancing the company’s market position, maximizing revenue potential, and contributing to long-term organizational success through innovative strategies and collaboration with internal teams.

Core Responsibilities
Market Research and Analysis:

  • Conduct in-depth market research to identify emerging opportunities, potential OEMs, Clients, and industry trends.
  • Analyze competitor activities and market dynamics to develop informed strategies.

Company Registration and Compliance:

  • Ensure that the company complies with all registration and regulatory requirements for local and international operations.
  • Oversee updates and renewals of certifications, licenses, and legal documentation to maintain compliance.

Company Profile Development:

  • Develop and enhance the company’s profile, including creating brochures, presentations, and digital content.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent branding and messaging in all communications.

Strategic Business Proposals and Negotiations:

  • Prepare and deliver customized business proposals, sales visit, presentations, and sales pitches aligned with client needs.
  • Negotiate and grassroots marketing and secure profitable business deals, fostering mutually beneficial partnerships.

Collaboration and Strategy Development:

  • Work closely with internal teams (e.g., Procurement, operations, and Technical team) to ensure alignment with client needs and company objectives.

Performance Tracking and Reporting:

  • Monitor and evaluate business development activities, tracking metrics such as lead generation, conversion rates, and revenue growth.
  • Provide actionable feedback and insights to management on market opportunities and operational challenges.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Revenue growth and achievement of sales targets.
  • Number of new clients acquired and retention rates of existing clients.
  • Conversion rates for leads generated and closed deals.
  • Quality and impact of business proposals and presentations. Working Conditions
  • Occasional travel to meet clients, attend networking events, or participate in industry conferences.
  • Flexibility in working hours to accommodate client schedules and project deadlines.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2–5 years of proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role.
  • Additional Expertise: Familiarity with industry trends, industry networks, and business strategies.

Key Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for building and maintaining client relationships.
  • Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills with a results-driven approach.
  • Strategic and analytical thinking to evaluate market trends and develop effective strategies.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
