Job Summary
The Business Development Officer / Executive is responsible for driving the company’s growth by identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities, cultivating strong client relationships, and establishing strategic partnerships.
This role focuses on enhancing the company’s market position, maximizing revenue potential, and contributing to long-term organizational success through innovative strategies and collaboration with internal teams.
Core Responsibilities
Market Research and Analysis:
Conduct in-depth market research to identify emerging opportunities, potential OEMs, Clients, and industry trends.
Analyze competitor activities and market dynamics to develop informed strategies.
Company Registration and Compliance:
Ensure that the company complies with all registration and regulatory requirements for local and international operations.
Oversee updates and renewals of certifications, licenses, and legal documentation to maintain compliance.
Company Profile Development:
Develop and enhance the company’s profile, including creating brochures, presentations, and digital content.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent branding and messaging in all communications.
Strategic Business Proposals and Negotiations:
Prepare and deliver customized business proposals, sales visit, presentations, and sales pitches aligned with client needs.
Negotiate and grassroots marketing and secure profitable business deals, fostering mutually beneficial partnerships.
Collaboration and Strategy Development:
Work closely with internal teams (e.g., Procurement, operations, and Technical team) to ensure alignment with client needs and company objectives.
Performance Tracking and Reporting:
Monitor and evaluate business development activities, tracking metrics such as lead generation, conversion rates, and revenue growth.
Provide actionable feedback and insights to management on market opportunities and operational challenges.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Revenue growth and achievement of sales targets.
Number of new clients acquired and retention rates of existing clients.
Conversion rates for leads generated and closed deals.
Quality and impact of business proposals and presentations. Working Conditions
Occasional travel to meet clients, attend networking events, or participate in industry conferences.
Flexibility in working hours to accommodate client schedules and project deadlines.
Qualifications and Experience
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience: 2–5 years of proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role.
Additional Expertise: Familiarity with industry trends, industry networks, and business strategies.
Key Skills and Competencies:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for building and maintaining client relationships.
Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills with a results-driven approach.
Strategic and analytical thinking to evaluate market trends and develop effective strategies.
