Job Summary
- We are seeking an experienced and passionate Ticketing and Reservation Officer to join our team.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing ticketing and reservation activities, ensuring seamless travel arrangements, excellent customer service, and efficient booking operations within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Make reservations and bookings for customers, including the issuance of flight tickets.
- Process ticket bookings, quote fares, and send booking details directly to customers or as directed.
- Arrange reservations and routing for passengers based on requests or company directives.
- Provide clients with essential travel information, including travel schedules, policies, and requirements.
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding flight dates, pricing, availability, cancellations, and changes.
- Promote special offers, travel packages, and other company products and services.
- Utilize Computer Reservation Systems (CRS/GDS) to check flight availability and process bookings efficiently.
- Confirm seat availability on requested travel dates and advise customers on suitable travel options.
- Educate customers on new and existing travel products and services offered by the company.
- Follow up on inquiries and convert leads into confirmed sales.
- Stay informed about industry updates, airline policies, and operational changes affecting the ticketing unit.
- Promote and sell travel-related products and services to achieve sales targets.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of OND qualification in any relevant discipline.
- Minimum of four (4) years’ experience in ticketing and reservation operations.
- Proficiency in the use of Global Distribution Systems (GDS), especially Amadeus and Galileo, is mandatory.
- Experience in tour packaging and travel planning is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong customer service and relationship management skills.
- Positive attitude with a growth-oriented mindset.

- Strong knowledge of airline ticketing and reservation procedures.
- Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Sales-driven mindset with the ability to convert inquiries into bookings.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and travel booking systems.
- Ability to multitask and manage customer requests effectively.
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
Salary
N200,000 – N250,000 monthly.
