Job Title: Head of Credit and Marketing
Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
Credit Management:
- Lead the bank's credit operations and loan portfolio management.
- Review and assess credit applications in line with approved policies and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor portfolio performance and ensure effective credit risk management.
- Develop and implement credit strategies that support sustainable portfolio growth.
- Ensure timely loan recovery and portfolio quality maintenance.
Marketing & Business Development:
- Develop and execute marketing strategies to drive customer acquisition and business growth.
- Identify and pursue new market opportunities and strategic partnerships.
- Promote the bank's products and services to individuals, SMEs, and corporate clients.
- Drive deposit mobilization and loan portfolio expansion.
- Strengthen brand visibility through both digital and traditional marketing channels.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years' relevant experience in banking, microfinance, credit administration, marketing, or business development.
- Strong knowledge of credit analysis, risk management, and lending operations.
- Proven ability to achieve business growth and portfolio targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, analytical, and leadership skills.
- Professional banking or finance certifications will be an added advantage.
