The Role
- We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager to lead Quickli App’s commercial growth across Lagos. This role is responsible for driving revenue, vendor acquisition, customer growth, and strategic partnerships while managing and developing a high-performing sales team.
- The ideal candidate is a hands-on commercial leader with a proven track record of exceeding targets, building strong business relationships, and leading field sales teams within fast-paced industries such as technology, e-commerce, logistics, FMCG, fintech, or on-demand delivery.
Responsibilities
Sales Leadership & Revenue Growth:
- Lead, coach, and manage the sales team across Lagos.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue, vendor acquisition, and customer growth targets.
- Monitor team performance, provide regular feedback, and ensure accountability for results.
- Drive Gross Merchandise Value (GMV) growth and overall commercial performance.
Vendor Acquisition & Partnerships;
- Recruit and onboard top restaurants, supermarkets, grocery stores, and other merchants onto the Quickli App platform.
- Identify, negotiate, and close strategic partnerships with key supermarkets and food service brands.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with high-value accounts.
Market Expansion & Customer Growth:
- Drive customer acquisition initiatives through field activities, activations, and market penetration strategies.
- Identify new business opportunities and underserved markets.
- Monitor competitor activities and recommend strategies to maintain market leadership.
Operations & Reporting:
- Manage the sales pipeline from prospecting through onboarding and account activation.
- Develop sales processes, territory plans, and performance frameworks.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, and Product teams to support business objectives.
- Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports with actionable insights.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and standards.
What success looks like
- Consistent achievement of revenue and growth targets.
- Strong expansion of Quickli App's merchant network across Lagos.
- Increased customer acquisition and platform usage.
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years' experience in Sales, Business Development, or Commercial Management.
- 3-4 years in a Sales Management or Leadership role.
- Proven record of consistently achieving revenue and growth targets.
- Strong experience in enterprise sales, strategic partnerships, and key account management.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing sales teams.
- Deep understanding of the Lagos business environment and commercial landscape.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent analytical and reporting capabilities.
- Bachelor's Degree (B.Sc./HND) in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related discipline.
Preferred:
- Experience within fintech, e-commerce, logistics, food-tech, marketplace, or on-demand delivery businesses.
- Experience managing large retail, supermarket, or restaurant partnerships.
- MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is an added advantage.
