Job Summary
- We are seeking a meticulous and analytical Auditor to examine financial records, assess internal controls, and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- The ideal candidate should possess strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and integrity.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular audits of financial records and operational processes
- Review accounting systems and internal control procedures
- Identify risks, discrepancies, and areas for improvement
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies
- Prepare audit reports and present findings to management
- Verify the accuracy of financial statements and transactions
- Monitor adherence to internal controls and recommend corrective actions
- Assist in implementing audit recommendations
Requirements
- B.Sc/HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
- Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA, CIA, or equivalent) is an added advantage
- Proven experience in auditing, accounting, or compliance roles
- Strong analytical and investigative skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Excellent report-writing and communication skills
- High level of integrity and confidentiality.
