Job Description
- We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to serve as the primary point of contact between our clients and their customers. The ideal candidate will handle inquiries, resolve issues efficiently, and deliver a consistently high-quality customer experience across multiple communication channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for customer inquiries via phone, email, chat, or ticketing systems.
- Provide accurate information about products, services, and policies.
- Resolve customer complaints calmly, professionally, and within defined service standards.
- Escalate complex issues appropriately while maintaining ownership until resolution.
- Document customer interactions clearly and accurately in CRM or support systems.
- Follow approved scripts, workflows, and client-specific guidelines.
- Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly performance targets.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality at all times.
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve customer experience and service delivery.
- Adhere strictly to quality assurance, compliance, and data protection standards.
Requirements
- Minimum of Higher National Diploma (HND) in any discipline.
- Must have completed NYSC.
- Minimum of three (3) years' customer service experience.
- Previous experience supporting international clients (US/UK) will be an added advantage.
- Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
- Strong active listening, empathy, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to remain calm, professional, and solution-oriented.
- Clear articulation and confident communication skills.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
- Ability to work assigned shifts, including international time zones where required.
