Role Description

  • This is a full-time, on-site role for a Business Development Executive based in Lagos. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving business growth through lead generation, client acquisition, relationship management, and strategic business development initiatives.
  • The Business Development Executive will identify and pursue new business opportunities, establish partnerships with key stakeholders, promote the Bank’s mortgage products and services, and deliver tailored financial solutions to clients. The role requires a proactive professional with a strong ability to achieve sales targets, build lasting client relationships, and contribute to the Bank's growth objectives.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Economics, Estate Management, or a related discipline.
  • Relevant professional certifications will be an added advantage.
  • Proven experience in Business Development, Sales, Lead Generation, and Account Management.
  • 5-7 years' business development or sales experience within a Mortgage Bank, Commercial Bank (Mortgage Desk), Real Estate Company, Property Development Firm, or related financial services organization.
  • Demonstrated understanding of mortgage products, housing finance, real estate financing, and property markets.
  • Strong business networking and relationship management skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to identify and develop new business opportunities and convert leads into customers.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales and business growth targets.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

  • Experience working in the mortgage banking or real estate sector is mandatory.
  • Existing network within the real estate, housing finance, construction, or property development ecosystem will be an added advantage.
  • Self-motivated, result-driven, and capable of working with minimal supervision.
  • Strong understanding of the Lagos real estate market and housing finance landscape.
