Job Title: Digital Marketing Lead

Location: Iyana Ipaja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Role Overview

  • The Digital Marketing Lead is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing OSSAJ’s digital demand generation ecosystem.
  • This role owns the complete digital customer journey from first website interaction through lead qualification, nurturing, conversion, and customer acquisition.
  • The position also leads recruitment marketing initiatives to attract high-quality talent across OSSAJ companies.

Responsibilities
Digital Experience & Website Optimization:

  • Work with web developers to optimize websites, landing pages, and digital experiences to maximize lead generation and conversion rates.
  • Implement visitor personalization strategies.
  • Enhance first-touch data capture and progressive profiling.
  • Conduct ongoing UX, CRO, SEO, and website assessments.
  • Optimize forms, chat experiences, landing pages, and conversion paths.

Lead Intelligence & Qualification:

  • Develop lead scoring and propensity-to-convert models.
  • Automate lead qualification workflows using CRM and AI.
  • Implement real-time lead routing and response systems.
  • Create audience segmentation and nurture programs.

Marketing Automation & Revenue Operations:

  • Build and maintain automated lead nurturing journeys.
  • Integrate CRM, website, advertising, email, and reporting platforms.
  • Improve sales and marketing alignment through automation.
  • Monitor qualification rates, response times, and conversion performance.

Pipeline & Demand Generation:

  • Maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities.
  • Execute multi-channel demand generation campaigns.
  • Manage paid search, paid social, display, email, and retargeting campaigns.
  • Support customer acquisition goals while maintaining target acquisition costs.

Analytics & Reporting:

  • Report paid media performance including spend, CTR, CPC, CPL, CVR, and ROAS.
  • Analyze website traffic, funnel performance, and landing page effectiveness.
  • Provide end-to-end attribution from traffic source to closed customer.
  • Develop executive dashboards and KPI reporting.

MarTech Strategy:

  • Implement and optimize a Martech stack covering Data, Decisioning, Design, and Distribution/Measurement.
  • Evaluate AI and automation technologies.
  • Maintain data quality, governance, and attribution accuracy.

Talent Attraction & Recruitment Marketing:

  • Use social media marketing to recruit employees across OSSAJ companies.
  • Manage recruitment campaigns across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and other channels.
  • Create employer branding and recruitment content.
  • Track cost per applicant, cost per hire, and recruitment funnel metrics.
  • Develop talent pipelines for field, technical, engineering, project management, and administrative positions.

Key Performance Indicators

  • Website conversion rate
  • Marketing-qualified leads (MQLs)
  • Sales-qualified leads (SQLs)
  • Cost per acquisition (CPA)
  • Return on advertising spend (ROAS)

  • Qualified applicants generated

Requirements
Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Business Analytics, Communications, Computer Science, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in digital marketing, demand generation, marketing operations, or growth marketing
  • Experience implementing marketing technology stacks and automation systems
  • Experience improving website conversion rates and marketing ROI
  • Experience with B2B construction, facility services, manufacturing, or industrial organizations
  • Ability to work Monday to Friday from 10am – 7pm WAT.

Technical Skills:

  • HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho, or equivalent CRM platforms
  • Marketing automation platforms
  • Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, and conversion tracking
  • Paid media campaign management
  • SEO, CRO, and website analytics
  • Lead scoring and qualification systems
  • Power BI, Looker Studio, Excel, or equivalent reporting tools
  • AI-driven marketing and automation tools
