Job Summary

  • We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Sales Specialist with a strong background in IT software sales (SaaS, enterprise software, ERP, CRM, and cloud-based solutions).
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, acquiring enterprise clients, managing key accounts, and leading the full sales cycle from prospecting to deal closure.
  • The role requires a strategic thinker with strong consultative selling skills, excellent client engagement ability, and a proven track record of consistently exceeding sales targets in competitive technology markets.

Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Business Development:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets.
  • Identify, qualify, and convert high-value enterprise leads.
  • Drive end-to-end sales cycles from prospecting to closing deals.
  • Expand market presence across target industries (finance, oil & gas, retail, telecoms, etc.).

Enterprise Client Acquisition & Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives and key decision-makers.
  • Understand client business needs and propose tailored software solutions.
  • Manage key accounts to ensure long-term retention and upselling opportunities.
  • Act as the primary liaison between clients and internal teams.

Solution Selling & Product Expertise:

  • Conduct product presentations, demos, and solution walkthroughs.
  • Translate technical software features into clear business value propositions.
  • Collaborate with technical/implementation teams to design client-specific solutions.
  • Provide consultative advice on digital transformation and software adoption.

Proposal Development & Deal Closure:

  • Prepare detailed proposals, RFP responses, and commercial quotations.
  • Lead contract negotiations ensuring profitability and compliance.
  • Manage pricing discussions and close complex enterprise deals.
  • Ensure timely follow-up and closure of sales opportunities.

Market Intelligence & Competitive Positioning:

  • Monitor industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies.
  • Provide insights to improve product positioning and sales strategy.
  • Identify new market opportunities and expansion channels.

CRM & Sales Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and client interactions.
  • Update CRM systems regularly with pipeline status and forecasts.
  • Provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales performance reports.
  • Track KPIs and ensure consistent pipeline growth.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with marketing, product, and technical teams.
  • Support product improvement feedback based on client needs.
  • Coordinate seamless handover from sales to implementation teams.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Revenue generated from software and enterprise solutions.
  • Number of new enterprise clients acquired.
  • Conversion rate from lead to closed deal.
  • Size and quality of sales pipeline.
  • Customer retention and upselling performance.
  • Proposal win rate and deal closure speed.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields
  • 7 - 10 years proven experience in IT software sales, SaaS, ERP, CRM, or enterprise solution sales.
  • Strong track record of meeting/exceeding revenue targets in a B2B or enterprise environment.
  • Experience selling to mid-to-large organizations and government/private sector clients.
  • Relevant certifications in sales, technology, or CRM tools is an advantage.
