Description
- Our client, a leading organization in the eyewear and eyecare industry, is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and professional HR/Admin Officer to join their team.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for managing human resources functions and administrative operations, ensuring a productive work environment and the smooth day-to-day running of the office.
- The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting recruitment, employee relations, performance management, office administration, and overall operational efficiency, while fostering a professional, compliant, and high-performing workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
Human Resources:
- Manage end-to-end recruitment and selection processes for technical and non-technical roles.
- Maintain and update employee records, personnel files, and HR databases.
- Coordinate employee onboarding, induction, and orientation programs.
- Administer leave management, attendance tracking, and related HR processes.
- Support performance management activities, including appraisals and employee evaluations.
- Prepare employment contracts, confirmation letters, disciplinary letters, and other HR documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, labor laws, and statutory requirements.
- Provide guidance to management on employee relations matters and workplace issues.
- Support employee engagement initiatives and contribute to a positive workplace culture.
Administration:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations and smooth running of the office.
- Coordinate facility management activities and liaise with service providers to ensure efficient office operations.
- Manage office supplies, utilities, equipment, and workplace resources.
- Coordinate meetings, travel arrangements, and office logistics as required.
- Maintain company records, filing systems, and administrative documentation.
- Prepare and submit weekly and monthly administrative reports.
- Manage vendor and supplier relationships, including maintaining an up-to-date vendor database.
- Ensure office safety, security, and compliance with health and safety standards.
- Identify opportunities to improve administrative processes and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Interested candidates should possess a Degree with 3 - 5 years experience.
Salary
N350,000 - N400,000 monthly.
