We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Business Development Manager (ICT Training Center)

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Role Summary

  • The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving the growth, profitability, and strategic expansion of the Centre.
  • The role provides leadership and oversight for all training operations, school partnerships, CBT centre activities, student enrollment initiatives, and business development efforts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to increase student enrollment, revenue, and market share.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and income-generating initiatives.
  • Build, manage, and expand partnerships with primary, secondary, and tertiary institutions.
  • Coordinate ICT training programs delivered within partner schools.
  • Negotiate and manage service agreements with schools and educational institutions.
  • Identify opportunities to deploy ICT instructors and training solutions to new schools.
  • Provide leadership, direction, and performance management for staff.
  • Ensure effective planning, scheduling, and delivery of all training programs and projects.
  • Monitor program quality, learner satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
  • Oversee the operations and profitability of the CBT Centre and ensure compliance with examination body requirements.
  • Develop strategies to increase CBT centre utilization and revenue generation.
  • Develop proposals, presentations, and business cases for prospective clients and partners.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to drive awareness, lead generation, and student acquisition initiatives.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities within the ICT and education sectors.
  • Prepare and present periodic performance reports, forecasts, and recommendations to management.
  • Ensure departmental objectives align with the overall strategic goals of the organization.
  • Perform other duties as may be assigned by management.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Education, Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in business development, educational management, training operations, or a similar leadership role.
  • Demonstrated experience in partnership development, revenue generation, and team leadership.
  • Strong negotiation, stakeholder engagement, and strategic planning skills.
