We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Facility Manager / Operations Manager

Location: Ikoyi, Lagos

Job Summary

  • The Facility Manager / Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of facility management services, ensuring efficient service delivery, client satisfaction, operational excellence, and profitability across multiple sites.
  • The successful candidate will lead teams, manage contractors, ensure compliance with service standards, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee facility operations across assigned client sites.
  • Ensure delivery of services in accordance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
  • Supervise facility staff, technicians, cleaners, and contractors.
  • Monitor Mechanical, Electrical, and Building Systems performance.
  • Manage operational budgets and control costs effectively.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular facility inspections and audits.
  • Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards.
  • Prepare operational reports, performance dashboards, and management updates.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency.
  • Lead incident management and emergency response activities.
  • Support business development efforts through client retention and service enhancement.

Requirements
Educational Qualification

  • Bachelor's Degree/HND in Engineering, Facility Management, Estate Management, Building Technology, Project Management, or a related field.

Experience:

  • Must have 5–8 years relevant experience in Facility Management, Operations Management, Property Management, or related industries.
  • Proven experience managing multiple facilities or client sites.
  • Experience in managing technical teams and service contractors.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent client relationship management abilities.
  • Sound knowledge of facility maintenance and building systems.
  • Budgeting and cost control expertise.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills.
  • Knowledge of HSE standards and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and facility management software.
