Job Summary

  • An exciting leadership opportunity exists for an experienced and commercially driven professional to lead a high-performing Outsourcing Business Unit with full responsibility for business growth, profitability, client acquisition, customer retention, market expansion, and strategic direction.
  • The successful candidate will drive aggressive revenue growth, expand the client portfolio, deepen market penetration across key industry sectors, and provide full P&L leadership while positioning the business as a leading provider of personnel outsourcing and business process outsourcing solutions across Nigeria and West Africa.

Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Commercial Leadership:

  • Drive the overall commercial agenda and business growth strategy across multiple sectors, including FMCG, Financial Services, Telecoms, Oil & Gas, Manufacturing, Technology, Healthcare, and the Public Sector.
  • Lead the business development pipeline, revenue generation initiatives, and new client acquisition efforts.
  • Personally lead major client pitches, RFP submissions, contract negotiations, and strategic account engagements.
  • Secure high-value, long-term outsourcing contracts with multinationals, blue-chip organizations, and public sector institutions.
  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships with C-suite decision makers and key stakeholders across target industries.

Strategy & Business Growth:

  • Develop and execute the business unit's three-to-five-year growth strategy.
  • Lead annual business planning, budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation processes.
  • Drive digital transformation initiatives and technology-enabled service offerings.
  • Evaluate and execute expansion opportunities across Nigeria and key West African markets.
  • Provide strategic performance reporting and P&L accountability to executive leadership.

Customer Retention & Relationship Management:

  • Serve as executive sponsor for strategic and high-value client accounts.
  • Drive client retention, account growth, customer satisfaction, and contract renewal initiatives.
  • Lead customer engagement programs designed to strengthen loyalty and increase account value.
  • Work closely with operational teams to ensure service excellence and compliance with contractual obligations.

Brand & Market Leadership:

  • Champion the organization's outsourcing brand and market positioning.
  • Represent the business at industry forums, conferences, executive roundtables, and stakeholder engagements.
  • Oversee marketing initiatives and thought leadership activities that drive visibility and lead generation.

Qualifications & Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Management, or a related field
  • MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification will be an added advantage
  • 10–12 years of progressive commercial experience
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience at Business Unit Head level
  • Strong experience within Outsourcing, BPO, Staffing Solutions, Managed Services, or related B2B service sectors
  • Proven track record of driving business growth, client acquisition, and revenue generation
  • Established network across FMCG, Telecommunications, Oil & Gas, Financial Services, and Public Sector organizations
  • Demonstrated experience securing and managing high-value, multi-year outsourcing contracts
  • Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and client relationship skills
  • West African business experience will be an added advantage.
