Job Title: Operations Manager

Job Summary

  • The Hotel Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the hotel to ensure exceptional guest experiences, efficient service delivery, and profitability.
  • This role supervises multiple departments including front office, housekeeping, food & beverage, and maintenance, ensuring all operations run smoothly and meet quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
Operations Management:

  • Oversee day-to-day hotel operations across all departments.
  • Ensure smooth coordination between front office, housekeeping, F&B, and maintenance.
  • Monitor occupancy rates, reservations, and guest flow.
  • Implement operational procedures and policies.

Guest Experience:

  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly.
  • Maintain service quality standards.
  • Monitor online reviews and feedback.

Staff Management:

  • Recruit, train, and supervise staff.
  • Prepare staff schedules and duty rosters.
  • Conduct performance evaluations.
  • Foster a positive work environment.

Financial Oversight:

  • Manage budgets and control operational costs.
  • Monitor revenue, expenses, and profitability.
  • Prepare financial and operational reports.
  • Optimize pricing and occupancy strategies.

Compliance & Safety:

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
  • Maintain licensing and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections.

Sales & Business Development:

  • Support marketing and sales initiatives.
  • Build relationships with corporate clients and partners.
  • Identify opportunities to increase revenue.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in hotel management or operations.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Financial management and budgeting experience.
  • Familiarity with hotel management software (PMS systems).

Salary
N500,000 - N700,000 per month.
