Job Summary
- We are seeking a smart, strategic, and career-driven Procurement Manager to lead our purchasing and supply chain operations.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing quality products and services, negotiating with suppliers, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring timely procurement while optimizing costs without compromising quality.
- This role is ideal for a commercially minded professional with strong negotiation skills and experience in hospitality procurement.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies that support business objectives.
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best quality, pricing, and delivery terms.
- Manage vendor relationships and evaluate supplier performance regularly.
- Oversee the procurement of food, beverages, equipment, and operational supplies.
- Ensure timely purchasing and delivery of goods to support uninterrupted operations.
- Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with the Store and Operations teams to forecast purchasing needs.
- Prepare purchase orders and ensure compliance with procurement policies and approval processes.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining product quality and service standards.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, contracts, and supplier documentation.
- Prepare procurement reports, spend analysis, and supplier performance reports.
- Support audits and continuously improve procurement processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
- Professional certification in Procurement or Supply Chain Management is an advantage.
- 3–5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
- Experience in the hospitality, hotel, restaurant, retail, or FMCG sector is preferred.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience is required.
- Proficiency with Procurement software is an advantage
Skills:
- Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
- Excellent knowledge of procurement processes and inventory management.
- Strong analytical and cost-control abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, ERP systems, and procurement software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and planning abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- High level of integrity, accountability, and attention to detail.
