Job Title: Site IT Officer
Location: Calabar, Cross River
Industry: Oil and Gas
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support to end users.
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, IP phones, and other end-user devices.
- Administer Windows environments, including Active Directory, Group Policies, and Microsoft 365.
- Perform preventive maintenance and routine system health checks.
- Maintain #IT asset inventory, documentation, and operational records.
- Ensure compliance with ICT policies, standards, and security procedures.
- Install, configure, and support LAN/WAN infrastructure.
- Configure and troubleshoot managed switches, routers, wireless access points, firewalls, and VLANs.
- Perform structured cabling installations, testing, and fiber optic connectivity.
- Monitor network performance, availability, and reliability.
- Support LAN expansion, structured cabling, server room deployments, communication racks, UPS systems, and network cabinets.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Must have 5-8 years of hands-on ICT infrastructure experience.
- Hands-on experience deploying and supporting CCTV systems.
- Strong background in Windows administration and Microsoft technologies.
