Job Title: Cards Data Analyst
Location: Lagos

Responsibilities
Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Analyze card portfolio data to identify trends, patterns, and performance insights
- Prepare regular reports on key metrics such as transaction volumes, spend, and card usage
- Support ad-hoc data requests from business teams.
Dashboard Development & Maintenance:
- Develop and maintain dashboards using tools such as Power BI or similar platforms
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across reporting outputs
- Automate recurring reports where possible.
Performance Monitoring:
- Track key performance indicators including card issuance, activation, utilization, and revenue
- Highlight variances, anomalies, and areas requiring attention
- Support ongoing monitoring of business performance.
Customer & Transaction Analysis:
- Analyze customer behavior and transaction patterns
- Provide insights to support business decisions and operational improvements.
Data Management Support:
- Work with internal teams to ensure proper data capture and quality
- Assist in structuring and organizing datasets for analysis.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field
- 2–4 years’ experience in a Data Analyst role (preferably within banking, fintech, or payments)
- Strong proficiency in Excel and SQL
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
- Ability to work with large datasets and perform data cleaning and validation.
