We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: On-the-Job Learning (OJL) Trainer-Coach-Assessor

Location: Rivers

Job Summary

  • Identify competency gaps across the Mechanical, Electrical, and Instrumentation maintenance disciplines through structured job task analyses, appraisal schemes, and regular consultation with discipline stream leads and supervisors within the ~120-person FPSO maintenance team.
  • Liaise with Training Coordinator to design, assess and revise training programs based on organizational and individual needs to meet customer requirements.
  • Perform on-site training assessments and competence evaluations for maintenance technicians and supervisors aboard the FPSO to support national talent progression, in liaison with discipline maintenance trainers and PACE project staff.
  • Ensure that all training and assessment activities conducted aboard or in support of the FPSO comply with PACE/VINCI and Oil & Gas QHSSE standards, permit-to-work requirements, and applicable offshore safety regulations.
  • Ensure that assessments and verifications are taking place to International Standards.
  • Interface with the Skills Designer Competence Management System, to submit evidence of assessments & trainings. 
  • Skills designer in a VINCI internal tool report all assessments & trainings.

Requirements

  • Motivated trainer dedicated to developing trainee talent: knowledge, skill and personal performance.
  • Minimum of 3 years active training experience, preferably in On-the-Job Training / Learning.
  • Articulate communicator with good interpersonal and man-management skills.
  • Keen, active, creative, and innovative person continually seeking new ways to affect technology transfer.
  • Able to operate independently of the central management location.
  • Oil & Gas production operations or maintenance experience.
  • On-the-Job Training, Coaching and Mentoring
  • Broad spectrum of plant and process exposure.
  • Preferably with a recognized certificate, or experience, in competence assessment (to Level A1 / L9DI / V1).
  • Classroom Training ability.
  • A seasoned technical professional with a minimum of 10 years of experience with an Oil & Gas multinational Operator or Service Company in a supervisory or lead role in Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation maintenance, ideally with prior exposure to FPSO or offshore production facility operations.
  • Proven ability to assess, coach, and develop technicians across at least one of these three disciplines is essential; cross-discipline familiarity is strongly preferred given the multi-discipline nature of the ~120-person team.
  • Exposure to International Training standards and Assessment / Verification Guidelines.
  • Assessor or Verifier Qualification.
  • Experience with Auditing.
