Our business scope: sales and renting of heavy trucks, light trucks, coaches, mine vehicles, special vehicles, engineering machinery (such as wheel loader, hoister, excavator, etc.); TBR tyres, spare parts sales; vehicle maintenance service.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Sales Manager (Spare Parts)
Location: Sagamu, Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the parts department.
- Ensure adequate stock levels while minimizing excess inventory.
- Source and procure genuine automotive parts from approved suppliers.
- Monitor inventory turnover and implement effective stock control measures.
- Work closely with the sales and aftersales teams to ensure timely parts availability.
- Develop strategies to increase parts sales and profitability.
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors and negotiate competitive pricing.
- Supervise, coach, and evaluate the performance of parts department staff.
- Ensure accurate documentation, inventory records, and reporting.
- Resolve customer complaints related to parts in a professional and timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience managing an automotive parts department or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of automotive spare parts, inventory management, and supply chain operations.
- Experience working with ERP or inventory management systems.
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication and customer relationship management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet performance targets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in an automobile dealership or automotive distribution company.
- Knowledge of both passenger and commercial vehicle spare parts.
- Professional certifications in supply chain, inventory management, or logistics will be an added advantage.
Salary
N300,000 - N500,000 / month.
