About the Role
- We are seeking a proactive, resourceful, and career-driven NYSC Corps Member to join our team as a Talent Acquisition Assistant. This is a remote opportunity designed for individuals passionate about recruitment and talent management.
- The successful candidate will support end-to-end recruitment activities, including candidate sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and talent database management.
- This role offers hands-on HR experience and an excellent opportunity to build a career in Talent Acquisition.
Key Responsibilities
- Source candidates using job boards, LinkedIn, social media, referrals, and other recruitment channels.
- Screen CVs and shortlist qualified candidates based on job requirements.
- Conduct initial phone screenings and schedule interviews.
- Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
- Prepare interview schedules, recruitment reports, and candidate profiles.
- Follow up with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
- Assist in drafting and posting job advertisements on various recruitment platforms.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future vacancies.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
- Perform other recruitment and HR-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be a currently serving NYSC Corps Member (Corper).
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Human Resource Management, Industrial Relations, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Strong interest in Talent Acquisition and Recruitment.
- Must own a functional laptop and have reliable internet access.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Workspace is an added advantage.
- Previous internship or volunteer HR experience is an added advantage.
