Job Title: Talent Acquisition Assistant (NYSC)

Location: Remote
Employment Type: NYSC
Department: Human Resources – Recruitment
Reports To: Talent Acquisition Lead / HR Manager

About the Role

  • We are seeking a proactive, resourceful, and career-driven NYSC Corps Member to join our team as a Talent Acquisition Assistant. This is a remote opportunity designed for individuals passionate about recruitment and talent management.
  • The successful candidate will support end-to-end recruitment activities, including candidate sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and talent database management.
  • This role offers hands-on HR experience and an excellent opportunity to build a career in Talent Acquisition.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source candidates using job boards, LinkedIn, social media, referrals, and other recruitment channels.
  • Screen CVs and shortlist qualified candidates based on job requirements.
  • Conduct initial phone screenings and schedule interviews.
  • Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
  • Prepare interview schedules, recruitment reports, and candidate profiles.
  • Follow up with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
  • Assist in drafting and posting job advertisements on various recruitment platforms.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future vacancies.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
  • Perform other recruitment and HR-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Must be a currently serving NYSC Corps Member (Corper).
  • Bachelor's Degree or HND in Human Resource Management, Industrial Relations, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Strong interest in Talent Acquisition and Recruitment.
  • Must own a functional laptop and have reliable internet access.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Workspace is an added advantage.
  • Previous internship or volunteer HR experience is an added advantage.
