Job Summary
- As we continue to grow, we are looking for a results-driven Business Development & Sales Manager to drive revenue growth, expand our client base, and lead a high-performing sales team.
- The Business Development & Sales Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth through strategic business development, client acquisition, and sales execution.
- The successful candidate will identify new business opportunities, build strong client relationships, lead a sales team, and develop strategies that achieve the company's growth and revenue targets.
- This role requires a commercially focused professional with strong B2B sales experience, leadership capability, and a proven ability to close high-value deals.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development:
- Develop and execute business development strategies to achieve annual revenue targets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within target industries.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients.
- Research market trends and identify opportunities for business expansion.
- Evaluate previous business development initiatives and recommend improvements.
Sales & Revenue Growth:
- Drive the sales of Haul247's logistics and technology solutions to medium and large businesses.
- Develop sales strategies to consistently achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Prepare proposals, presentations, and commercial offers.
- Negotiate pricing and commercial terms while maintaining healthy profit margins.
- Manage the end-to-end sales cycle from prospecting to contract closure.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build long-term relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
- Understand client needs and recommend suitable business solutions.
- Lead client meetings, presentations, and negotiations.
- Support the preparation of Requests for Proposal (RFPs) and tender submissions.
- Ensure excellent customer experience throughout the sales process.
Reporting & Performance Management:
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and revenue performance reports.
- Monitor sales performance and recommend actions to improve results.
- Track key performance metrics and present insights to management.
Leadership:
- Lead, coach, and develop the Business Development team.
- Foster a high-performance culture focused on accountability and continuous improvement.
- Conduct performance reviews and support employee development initiatives.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Achievement of monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Revenue growth.
- New client acquisition and conversion rates.
- Sales pipeline growth.

Requirements
Education:
Experience:
- Minimum of 8 years' experience in Business Development or Sales.
- At least 3 years in a leadership or people management role.
- Proven experience selling B2B solutions and managing enterprise accounts.
- Experience in logistics, technology, supply chain, fintech, or related industries is an advantage.
- Project management experience is desirable.
