Description

  • Our subsidiary, PACE Nigeria, is currently seeking a Technical Sales Coordinator under a local contract.
  • Specializing in maintenance operations for the oil and gas industry, the company provides tailored services to integrated energy companies, contributing to the development of a knowledge-based industrial economy in Nigeria.
  • The Technical Sales Coordinator supports commercial and technical activities for fixed gas and flame detection solutions, encompassing product supply, on‑site commissioning, and ongoing maintenance.
  • The Technical Sales Coordinator will act as the nexus between Sales, Engineering, Operations and Clients, ensuring timely delivery of high‑quality solutions that meet customer safety and regulatory requirements.(Context, reporting line,project ...)

Responsabilites
In collaboration with Autochim, a french VINCI Energies business unit, you will:

  • Manage and develop customer relationships, including key accounts and new business opportunities.
  • Prepare, follow up, and support technical and commercial proposals.
  • Coordinate with customers, suppliers, procurement, logistics, and internal teams to ensure efficient project execution and timely delivery.
  • Perform site surveys, commissioning, first-line maintenance, troubleshooting, and customer training for gas and flame detection systems.
  • Develop maintenance plans, service agreements, and spare parts recommendations.
  • Monitor maintenance performance and maintain accurate technical and regulatory documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, customer requirements, and applicable regulations.

  • Keep up to date with industry developments, market trends, and best practices.
  • Actively participate in training and knowledge-sharing activities.

Key Performance Indicators / Performance Goals

  • Achievement of sales and support targets.

  • Timely and accurate delivery of quotations, projects, and services.
  • Compliance with maintenance service level agreements (SLA >95%).
  • Effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Adherence to company policies, procedures, and standards.

QHSE Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental standards.
  • Comply with company and customer QHSE policies, procedures, and management systems.

  • Participate actively in QHSE meetings, initiatives, and continuous improvement activities.
  • Promote a positive safety culture and report hazards, unsafe conditions, or incidents.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable safety and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline)
  • A Master's degree, PMP (or equivalent Project Management certification), and/or membership of a professional engineering body (e.g. COREN) would be an advantage.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in technical sales, project coordination, field service, or a similar role within industrial safety, instrumentation, automation, or process control environments.
  • Excellent verbal and written English skills; able to explain complex technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
  • Knowledge of fixed gas detection, flame detection, fire & gas, or related safety systems is highly desirable.
  • Strong customer-facing, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working effectively across both technical and commercial activities.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
