Job Title: Senior ICT Support Officer
Location: Abuja
About the Role
- Lead ICT infrastructure, systems and end‑user support at the facility, ensuring reliable, secure and available technology services for clinical and administrative operations.
Responsibilities
- Oversee installation, configuration and maintenance of hardware, networks, servers and end‑user devices.
- Ensure uptime and performance of critical systems, including the hospital/clinical information system and connectivity.
- Provide advanced technical support, resolve escalated incidents and supervise the ICT Support Officer.
- Administer user access, security, backups and data protection in line with policy.
- Manage relationships with ICT vendors and service providers; oversee service‑level agreements.
- Implement and monitor cybersecurity controls and respond to threats and incidents.
- Maintain an inventory of ICT assets, licences and configurations.
- Support deployment of new systems and applications, including testing and user training.
- Develop and enforce ICT policies, procedures and disaster‑recovery plans at the facility.
- Prepare ICT performance and incident reports for management.
Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field, plus completion of NYSC or a valid exemption where applicable.
Experience:
- 5 - 7 years’ ICT support / infrastructure experience, with supervisory exposure.
- Experience supporting hospital/health information systems is an advantage.
