Job Title: Senior ICT Support Officer

Location: Abuja

About the Role

• Lead ICT infrastructure, systems and end‑user support at the facility, ensuring reliable, secure and available technology services for clinical and administrative operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee installation, configuration and maintenance of hardware, networks, servers and end‑user devices.
• Ensure uptime and performance of critical systems, including the hospital/clinical information system and connectivity.
• Provide advanced technical support, resolve escalated incidents and supervise the ICT Support Officer.
• Administer user access, security, backups and data protection in line with policy.
• Manage relationships with ICT vendors and service providers; oversee service‑level agreements.
• Implement and monitor cybersecurity controls and respond to threats and incidents.
• Maintain an inventory of ICT assets, licences and configurations.
• Support deployment of new systems and applications, including testing and user training.
• Develop and enforce ICT policies, procedures and disaster‑recovery plans at the facility.
• Prepare ICT performance and incident reports for management.

Requirements
Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field, plus completion of NYSC or a valid exemption where applicable.

Experience:

• 5 - 7 years’ ICT support / infrastructure experience, with supervisory exposure.
• Experience supporting hospital/health information systems is an advantage.
