Job Description
- We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Development Executive to drive sales, identify new business opportunities, and expand our customer base for renewable energy solutions.
- The ideal candidate must have a strong sales background, excellent negotiation skills, and a proven track record of meeting revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business leads and convert them into sales.
- Promote and sell the company’s renewable energy products and services.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and quotations.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals.
- Meet and exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities.
- Follow up on customer enquiries and ensure excellent after-sales service.
- Collaborate with the technical team to deliver solutions that meet client needs.
- Prepare regular sales and business development reports.
Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or HND in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
- 5–10 years of proven experience in sales and business development.
- Experience in the renewable energy, solar, electrical, engineering, or related industry is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Skills:
- Strong sales and business development experience.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to close high-value sales.
- Customer relationship management skills.
- Strong networking and prospecting abilities.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Other Requirements:
- Must be highly target-driven and self-motivated.
- Strong understanding of B2B sales and client relationship management.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and business development activities.
- A valid driver’s licence is an added advantage.
Remuneration
N350,000 per month, plus performance-based incentives and commissions.
